TopX HUD

A free Claude Code plugin that shows context use, the 5-hour and 7-day limits and whether a turn is running above the prompt, with a Compact button and a /topx pane of recent turns.

What it shows

• Context use as a small liquid globe: blue, amber from 75%, red from 90%.
• A Compact button that runs the same compaction as /compact.
• The 5-hour and 7-day limits, with the time left until the 5-hour reset.
• /topx opens a pane of recent turns: duration, errors and tools used.
• Follows the light or dark appearance of the desktop app; a terminal gets one line of text.

Install

1. Download topx-hud.zip and unzip it into ~/.claude/mods.
2. Add "env": { "CLAUDE_CODE_PLUGIN_DIRS": "~/.claude/mods/topx-hud" } to ~/.claude/settings.json.
3. Open a new session.

Needs Claude Code 2.1.286 or newer. MIT licence.
